3 Nights in Canberra

We have stayed at a nice caravan park close in to the centre of Canberra. Yesterday we cycled a little over 30k using the many cycle ways. We went to the National Museum & the War Memorial.
The War Memorial was incredible, we spent 6 hours there & only saw a fraction of what was there, even with the guided tour we took. Everything there was beautifully presented & accurate.
In contrast the National Museum was totally crap. The billion dollar building it was housed in was the only thing worth looking at. The contents was sparse, poorly presented & mainly junk.

Today we cycled a little over 20k & visited the old parliament house & the new parliament house. These were quite interesting. Tonight we intend going up the Telstra tower on Black Mountain. Those pics will have to wait until tomorrow.

About the only decent display at the National Museum.
